Ngati Porou rohe is reigniting the Hui Topu kaupapa with an invitation to gather in Hick’s Bay-Wharekahika for a day of whanaungatanga, whanau activities, markets, kai stalls, haka, performances and more. Nau mai, haramai, piki mai, kake mai!
The main day for Hui Topu is 20 April. For locals and those travelling and staying from Friday 19th there is a Pohiri and Karakia on Friday. There will also be an Easter Sunday Karakia on the 21st with baptisms and confirmations.

Accommodation is available from Good Friday to Easter Sunday.
A Bus will leave from Turanga Saturday 9AM, and return from Hicks Bay leaving 7:30PM.
